Rust Grip Anti Corrosive Paint gives new life to Indian Railways Coaches

With its competitive properties involving signiicantly high tensile strength and one pack system, Rust Grip aims to bring down maintenance costs of LHB Coaches at Sonipat Rail Coach Refurbishment Facility. Not the least, extend the service life of the coaches.

ICF has tried a special surface coating called 'Rust Grip' to fight corrosion on the underframe of Sri Lanka DEMU supplies. This paint has also been used on bogies of Sri Lanka DEMUs. Sri Lankan rail operations arc in coastal regions as far as DEMUs are concerned, which poses severe corrosion problem to steel. This paint was selected after due studies and has been approved by the Sri Lankan Railway management.
It is believed that this paint offers good corrosion retention in harsh coastal and saline environment and it is certainly worth putting on trial.
Bulk procurement may, however, require more extensive studies and/or RDSO's approval but limited trial with rust grip is recommended.

Thane Municipal Corporation(TMC), Maharashtra— PWD dept , takes pleasure in writing this letter of recommendation and support in favour of Resonant Innovative Technologies LLP(R|T) for the green certified and anti-corrosive coating.
Thane Municipal Corporation has been using Rust Grip coatings since 2015 on different bridges in TMC Limit. We have successfully completed two major bridge restoration projects with Rust Grip. One at Rabodi and the other at Vartak Nagar.
Based on our current observation and experience our corrosion maintenance cost have reduced using Rust Grip. We are confident that the life of Rust Grip application on these bridges mentioned above would last more years to come, resulting in recurrent savings on maintenance costs.
We highly recommend public works department to consider Rust Grip as their Anti Corrosive Coating option.

Our test bridge was downgraded from a 10 ton bridge to a 3 ton, due to the rust and deterioration of the substructure. Using the Rust Grip, the statc's re-certification process upgraded the bridge to a 21 ton... Wethink this is remarkable and have scheduled 17 more bridges to be covered with this product.."

This letter is to inform you that Rust Grip is acceptable for maintenance use in the painting of existing galvanized guardrail that has begun to exhibit rusting.
This acceptance is based upon the satisfactory performance of your material on a field demonstration project. Rust Grip also performed well during a test that was performed in Our lab. This acceptance is limited to the intended use as set forth in the manufacturer's product brochure.

Recently, I had the opportunity to inspect the overcoating lest patches we placed on old bridge steel in the Kentucky Department of Highways bridge yard at Frankfort in 1993. At that time, Mr. David Williams of Superior Products assisted with the application. We brushed on 3 coats of RustGrip on a substrate composed of old paint and rust on an I-beam. Prior to coating application, the substrate had been prepared by washing with water applied at low pressure and, subsequently, wiping the substrate with a rag.
At the same time, we applied sonic 15-20 other paint systems from various coatings manufacturers in a similar manner. Periodically, I have reviewed the performance of all the coating systems applied. Until this year, most of the coatings systems performed satisfactorily. However, now we are beginning to see some failures. I want to appraise of the fact that the RustGrip coating is one of the best performing systems.
As you know, we have an experimental overcoating project using your paint on a bridge at Danville, KY. It was completed several weeks ago and I have not had a chance to inspect it. When I am able to do so, I will send you some photographs for reference purposes. Based upon the performance of your paint in the bridge yard, I anticipate that we will experience excellent performance on the experimental overcoating project.

Environmental Industrial Applied Coatings, Inc. (New Tech Coatings, Inc.) morrow, Georgia, introduced and provided us with a new, top-quality product for the repairs and encapsulation of rust on a bridge in our County. This product has performed beyond our expectations and the case of application enabled to save about 80 man hours on one bridge, over the traditional methods of repair. Normally, we would have to sand blast the substructure of the bridge in order to repaint and repair them. This product. Rust Grip, enabled us to do the work with little or no preparation.
Our test bridge was downgraded from a 10 ton bridge to a 3 ton, due to the rust and deterioration of the substructure. Using the Rust Grip, the State's re-certification process upgraded the bridge to a 21 ton, with our cover plating and re-enforced concrete covering. We think this is remarkable and have scheduled 17 more bridges to be covered with this product in the next seventeen months.
We would like to thank Environmental Industrial Applied Coatings for introducing this product to our County.
